Giving you several excuses not to start and if you subscribe to those excuses, you'll not be able to start. I was held up also with the thought that I'm not good enough, whenever I saw the works of others, I would feel so inferior and weak.  But God had something else planned out for me. He brought people who heard me out, put me through and encouraged me to put my works out there whether I think it's good or not. It helped me get better by the day. Now I'm motivating people from far and wide, and even if I've not gotten to my bus stop yet. Sometimes it's hard to pursue what you're meant to simply because it's not what you want financially or because it's not looking rewarding, this is one of the reasons why I say it's hard getting to the top. To pursue your purpose you have to first find it within you. What would you pursue if you've not found your purpose???  You'll keep roaming in circles and at the end of the day have nothing or little to show for it Every journey does not start with achievements, it starts first with a purpose!!! You first ask yourself why you were born, pray, fast, talk to people, do whatever you want to do, but find what you are meant to do (your purpose) and work with it.   Are you a writer? Are you discouraged with the engagements you get on your posts? I know that feeling, I've been there. Every writer goes through this things before getting to the top. Some even stay in this same position for too long, it can be a sign that you are not getting it right or you are not directing those beautiful messages to the right audience.   2020 was one of my best years, I pursued my passion, learnt more about it and connected with well known individuals in my field. I even started a brand that same year and got a lot of people engaged in what I do.  But then, I made a few mistakes that I wouldn't want anyone else to make. The world as it is today with it's online features needs consistency and awareness to be able to connect with it's audience. This I've always known, but we all fight our individual battles that sometimes even interferes with our performances and flow, I let that part of me get in the way and lost the consistent traits that I possessed. Everything got in the way until I decided to just lay of this pursuit for a while to find my peace. That was a bold step for me to get back to sanity and to work well..... But, I lost my audience. Humans are such fragile beings that are tempted to relax at every slight opportunity they get, they love their comfort and frown at anything that takes it away from them We are human, we need a push. We all need that something that will come to mind whenever we get too relaxed, that thing that would keep us pushing and pushing without relent. We need anything that will motivate us to keep on going even if we don't admit the fact.  You go around attacking motivational speakers and calling them all sorts of names not knowing that even though you do not accept their kind of motivation. You still have  your motivation, after all how do you explain why despite the several injuries you got from working in that factory, you still work there, now you'll say that your reason is money, you need to pay your bills or take care of family.   Don't stop trying to show the world how amazing you are, don't stop pushing towards your success, don't stop fighting for a better future. Just don't stop!! Sometimes we can get tired, exhausted, irritated, frustrated in our quest to  succeed. It's fine, all you need is rest. Nobody is going to save you except you! You just need to be consistent, it's key.  I know this because sometime last year I was all fired up and ready to take my life and career to the next level, I was ready to run with whatever it may cost me to reach my aims, but I stopped at some point. At first it wasn't a break. It was me giving up and getting tired of having too much on my hands, having too many people ordering me around, volunteering here and there and not getting the slightest reward. It felt awful so I quit everything I was involved in plus my phone was bad it was enough excuse, I just needed to sleep and keep sleeping to wrap my head around things and It felt really exhaust...
