THE TWO MISTAKES I MADE LAST YEAR
2020 was one of my best years, I pursued my passion, learnt more about it and connected with well known individuals in my field. I even started a brand that same year and got a lot of people engaged in what I do.
But then, I made a few mistakes that I wouldn't want anyone else to make. The world as it is today with it's online features needs consistency and awareness to be able to connect with it's audience. This I've always known, but we all fight our individual battles that sometimes even interferes with our performances and flow, I let that part of me get in the way and lost the consistent traits that I possessed.
Everything got in the way until I decided to just lay of this pursuit for a while to find my peace.
That was a bold step for me to get back to sanity and to work well..... But, I lost my audience. It is so funny that this should be a sad story but it isn't.
As you know, the world keeps evolving and the internet births new experts and personalities each day. The old ones have to keep up with the trends to stay relevant and active in other not to lose their audience.
After my three months break I needed to stay relevant, so I started yet again the same way I started before that worked out well for me that time, which I shouldn't have. For Christ sake🤦🏻♀️ things are not the same as before and people are definitely not the same too.
I kept on like that until it hit me really bad, so I started all over, but now on the right note this time.
Have you been in this situation before or you're in it now?
You'll be fine😊
Just start again
It'll take time but it definitely works out
So keep pushing!!
I lost my audience does not mean that I cannot get more. If you haven't dropped from the chat yet, keep up the good work and don't stop pushing.
You've got this💪🏻
