FACTS ABOUT THE BEAUTIFUL VALENTINE'S DAY

           Valentine can be traced back to the 15th century through the story of a man called St Valentine who showed love to everyone around him. He showed a kind of love called "agape". As the years passes by the acts of this certain man is being celebrated every fourteenth day of February in every year by Christians.
          The perception of this very day (14th of Feb), has been defeated in different ways and places, people now see it as a day for immorality and canal kind of love whereas it should be seen as a day for agape love and affection, it is a day for friends and families to share their time and moments of love together. On this day, different kinds of gifts are given to the needy,orphans and rehabilitation centres, prisons,hospitals and blind homes are visited too. It is a day to share real love and not a day to make out, it is not a day to tell the person you have been crushing on about your feelings. A person like me spends my Valentine with my family, you don't spend your val with people you know that you don't share agape love with because some people just want to put up with you because of the so called Valentine's day groove. What matters on this day is your heart,you may not have the money or resources to go visit the orphanage homes or other place like I said but you can spend this precious day of love with your family because families symbolises love, affection and care. When you share your Val's day with your family, eating, talking and playing together you could even stroll out to get things together and have fun as a family reminding yourselves that there is nothing like family. An amazing experience to behold.
             However, Valentine's day is not about making out, the red and white, going to club that night, getting a new companion or lost of any kind. Rather it's associated with true love, the kind that Jesus Christ showed to us on the cross of calvary, the kind that St Valentine died for. It is a day to share agape love within ourselves, families, friends and the less privileged and a day to love anything lovable,we should not make mistakes that will reflect in our future because of a day's enjoyment. Val is a day just like every other day that we have been taught even in the Bible to love people around us. The devil comes out in days like this to devour the children of God that are not steadfast in his word,do not be carried away by worldly things on this day, because Christ's love rules every single day and we all should be satisfied with it all.
